The Wendy Hood Family
Dear Friends, as we stand together in prayer for our friend and sister in Christ, Wendy, will you continue to share in hope and shower your love during this season of her life.
The year ended with a sudden and challenging battle as Wendy underwent emergency brain surgery again, due to alarming symptoms. The tumor was causing visual distortion and it was extremely urgent to remove the tumor. This type of tumor, glioblastoma, can be tricky and aggressive.
We are standing with Wendy and her precious family, and praying and BELIEVING BIG for God to do something absolutely miraculous, that only He can do. He and Wendy are showing off. After the surgery, they anticipated a lengthy stay in ICU, but Wendy blew the ICU team away, with a brief stay of less then a day and she was home in 3 days. Today, less then 3 weeks later, Wendy is continuing with a group of 50+ people who are reading through the Bible together online, and just a couple of days ago, Wendy took one of the readings, when just days before, she had a hard time seeing others standing right in front of her. That's Wendy! She perseveres with great faith and intentional, purposeful living.
She has gathered an incredible care team and will begin radiation and a chemo pill in about 10 days. This is a major shift as she tackles this head on, with all of the tools available. She needs our prayers, love and support so much. I was with Wendy this past week, and while on a call with her care team and some prayer sisters, we experienced a holy moment where a bright light showed up, and took all of us back. This experience was a supernatural one. There are no windows in the room we were in. You can see the picture below was taken by one of the ladies on the call with us. Wendy is walking in the presence of the Lord, and we, her brothers and sisters, are His hands and feet to help lift the load as she presses on!
This is Round 2, and believing with you that THIS will be the cancer knockout round. We need your help! Please take a day to pray (you can see days listed on this page), and please consider giving whatever you can. The treatments are at Emory in Atlanta, everyday, 5 days a week, for 5 weeks. She will be living 2 hours from her home with her family by her side. The medical bills and expenses are piling up. We have increased our goal to $30,000 to help her cover her primary living expenses (Wendy is working very little, and Dennis is self-employed.)
Their ministry has been put on hold while she heals. Your financial support will help them cover some of the medical bills, along with the added treatment costs. Will you please help us, and share with others?
For those whose lives have been touched by Wendy's unconditional love and selflessness, this is a call to action. Let us come together to show our unwavering support for a woman who has given so much to others.
Will you join us today in standing by Wendy's side as she fights with bravery and faith?
Your generosity and love will make a meaningful difference in Wendy's journey. Together, we can bring MORE light into this journey of healing, and hope into her struggle.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Suzy
P.S. The picture was taken by one of the ladies on the care team call. Wendy was praying and the light was so bright, and if you look closely, it seemed to be coming from the cross.

Dear Wendy Hood Family
Please use the Chris Wark program. It is VERY specific and worked. My wife had a 2.7 cm glioblastoma, wild type, grade 4 in the fall of 2020. After biopsy surgery, radiation, and Temodar chemo pills for 6 month, it was smaller, as they said it would be, 2.4 cm.
We started on the Square one program in November 2021. Here’s what she did:
• 48 oz of the carrot juice recipe daily (I went through over 2,000 lbs. of carrots), for 10 months.
• Diet – Giant Cancer Fighting Salad for lunch, and dinner, also for 10 months or so.
• Exercise continued the daily walks, some stretching, related work.
• Devotionals – we joined the Healing Strong group, with Around the Word in 80 Days: completing it twice. Wonderful experience in so many ways, plus daily Bible and prayer work. She did a lot of the forgiveness work in the program; I understand why this is essential.
Results:
• Feb 2022 – MRI review – neuro-oncology PA says “whatever you are doing, keep doing it. You are beating all the odds; its shrinking.” She proceeded to enlarge the MRI, showing us how the cortex’s spherical shape around the tumor was collapsing into an elliptical shape. Incredible.
• May 2022 – MRI review – radiologist went back and re-measured all of the earlier MRIs with the same method so as to accurately document how the tumor, or more accurately, the space in the cortex, had shrunk to a narrow ellipse, about 1.3 cm the long way, about 0.3 cm the short way, from a 2.4 cm sphere. Same kind of comments from the neuro-oncology PA about beating all the odds.
• August 2022 – MRI review – this time the neuro-oncology doctor did the review. He said, “look, it’s gone, and been gone for quite some time. The image in May is the same as this one, and with the perfusion MRI we know there is no blood in the tumor, so it is obvious that there is nothing in the narrow shape of the cortex. Sometimes the cortex just doesn’t return fully to its original shape. How did you do this?” (Implicit was that he knew for sure that his treatment did not do it.). Unfortunately, we were nervous about telling him the details, and just said something about eating vegetables.
So, Sandy had about 18 months of good life, at the age of 83, that “they” said she would not have. Skipping details, she fell away from the program to a great extent after August 2023. But without the juice and diet program, it allowed a completely new tumor to develop that was difficult to detect until it was too late in June of 2023. She was in hospice for 3 months, passing away in September. But the key is that it DID work, and she did have, even at 84 yr old, about 18 months of pretty good life by any standards, with travel, daily long walks, concerts, and joy-filled time with her family.
Bottom line for Wendy – the program works by strengthening the body’s immune system, plus the medicinal effect of the food itself in the juice and diet which work directly to weaken and kill the cancer cells. So, if we had known, it would have HELPED the radiation and chemo work more effectively, plus supporting the body in withstanding these treatments.
Recap:
• The Square One program worked in eliminating the most fearsome cancer one can probably have, for sure. For Sure. I still follow the vegan, raw vegetables diet myself, and my blood work is insanely good. I saw it working up close on her, and since I ate the same food, but not much of the juice, I am a believer, since I saw, and felt it working amazingly well. My cholesterol is 170. I am now 82, but am in remarkable health, back to gym, bike riding 4.5 miles 4 days/week, etc.
• Since medical people don’t know anything about either natural healing, let alone diet or juicing, they can’t/don’t support it even indirectly. (Regret: we did not tell the neuro-oncology doctor about the Square One program). And since most people, including our family, none of whom are Christians, believe that the doctor is the expert on all matters relating to health, he provided no indirect support that might have encouraged our family to be supportive and helpful in sticking to the program.
• If I/we had been a) more vigilant about the possibility/probability of a second occurrence, which the neurosurgeon had said at the outset was more than a low probability, as did the PA’s at the reviews, we might have generated the focus to resume the program earlier, in time, to head off the second occurrence. We’ll never know, of course.
Please let me know if I can help. I am donating what I can, but I really urge you to use the very Christian, Square One program from Chris War.
May the Lord bless you and family,
Paul Deis
