Thank you for all of your prayers, cards, love, and support. Sharon is finally healing from the femur surgery and feeling stronger. She is still having some pain, but it has been improving and she is now able to walk with assistance from a walker. She is continuing home PT and OT several times a week. Yesterday, she had all markers completed to begin radiation on her femur this coming Monday. They have planned 10 treatments to get rid of the cancer and help the femur form new healthy bone over the nails/rod. Sharon also started chemo this week and will continue to be monitored closely for side effects. With that, she has been experiencing low energy and has to be very careful with germs. Please pray for minimal side effects and for the medicine to work to get rid of the cancer. Thank you for your patience as Briana (and Sharon as she feels up to it) respond to calls and texts.
