I hoenstly can say in my 11 years of this special needs life this season has been the hardest. Today went awful. X-ray showed Liam’s port is not in place, it’s against the wall of his atrium which is causing zero blood return. We did the port study, got blood return so we tried to get labs, no blood return. So we were discharged after Liam’s as deaccessed only to be called back from the dr immediately because he found a clot. The plan was to start tpa but Liam was absolutely hysterical- understandably so we will do it tomorrow after his oral surgery. I’m exhausted- now we have to schedule another survey for port replacement. We are tired, stressed anxious and ready for this to be over. Thanks everyone for reaching out and calming me. I’m tired
