Hello family and friends! This year has been very busy for us. Since January it seems the appointments, tests and diagnosis have been nonstop, back to back, but finally we are getting answers. This month Liam and Ava will be going to camp for a week to enjoy some R&R before both of their surgeries which will require recovery and down time. Liam is getting ready for his oral surgery-its been a year to get this scheduled and Ava has many procedures and tests this month before having her second heart surgery in August- 2 days before her birthday. This isnt an easy surgery for her,  it will be about 6-9 hours and will require a week inpatient as well as  4-6 week recovery. All these medical appointments have caused extra traveling and expenses for our family. The fuel, food extras needed when we arent home add up.  Alot of stress as well as needing to pack up, stay and be with them away from home.  One thing with having special needs kiddos is you just handle it, somehow. Typically we dont ask for much help if any but i was encouraged by many to create options as alot of you have reached out asking how to help. Jason and I tend to do it all without asking for much help but lately i have realized i have to release my control on this as its causing me alot of anxiety chest pains and i know right now these kiddos need me at 100%. We have set up support options to help us through this tough period. You can donate money, provide meal support, or volunteer to help around the house, do laundry, or come visit.
