Brett's first full day home was thankfully very quiet and uneventful 🙌🏻 Thank you for all the prayers - he was able to get the best night's rest he's had in a long time!

He was able to actually sleep in the bed which was really great - we originally thought he'd have to be in a recliner for awhile. He's using a walker to get around right now, and it seems like each day he can move around a little more.

We had a moment in the kitchen this afternoon where he scooted in using his walker as I was mixing up Miralax for him - we started laughing because it felt like a glimpse of what our lives will be like 40 years from now 😂

Brett is starting to catch up on texts and messages. Know that even if he hasn't responded directly, he is so grateful for all the support and loves each of you 🤍

The kids came back tonight too - we survived baths and bedtime and I had some help from Brett's friend Garrett (our kids' honorary uncle). As we settle back into "normal" life, having someone to assist me with the kids, especially during dinner, baths and bedtime, is hugely helpful so I can juggle them and still tend to Brett. We've got a good lineup of family help this weekend and I am so thankful 🙌🏻
