The Lord's mercies are new every morning 🙏🏻🙌🏻 Brett had a decent night and is in better spirits this morning. 

They have him on a low dose of Heparin (blood thinners) to keep the blood circulating through his leg post surgery. It's a really delicate balance right now because the Heparin increases the risk he will start bleeding again internally in his back. They've had him laying flat all night to minimize risk of bleeding. It's been super uncomfortable and he is restless. They said he may be able to get up later today.

His hemoglobin is low post surgery, so they are doing another blood transfusion now.

He will be in ICU until they can figure out the balance of blood thinners.

I am home with the kids this morning and we facetimed. Brett is on oxygen, and Ezra said "Daddy, there's a snake on your nose!" 😝 Ezra knows daddy is in the hospital and he gets to have a lot of stickers on his chest (to monitor his heart). Every time he talks to Brett, he asks to see his stickers 😂

Praying for a better day today. Please pray for the energy to shift so we can focus on new possibilities and new solutions. Pray for his blood levels to get back up, for NO internal bleeding, and for continued blood flow to the leg 🙏🏻
