In Support of Alexander Bynum
Alex was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon after ingesting an unknown substance he found on the floor under the bed while he was playing with his toys at our hotel while we were in Atlanta to attend a WWE event. While in the hospital he became lathargic and developed a bacterial infection. He also started having seizures. He had to be intubated and sedated and they are running numerous test to try and figure out what exactly is going on. Today after his MRI we were told he would have to have a lumbar puncture to check for minigitus. We are currently waiting for the results. With that being said my wife and I have not left his side and we were not prepared to be in the hospital for the amount of time we have been and do not know when we will get to go home. We appreciate any and all help. Welcome to our Support Registry.
1-29-24 Update. We are still in the PICU with Alex and he is still on the ventilator. He is having a hard time maintaining his oxygen levels. We have been hoping and praying for things to turn around and for our little guy to start doing better. We appreciate all the continued support and prayers during this time.
