Hey friends,

We had a really good few days at home... so good, it made coming back to the hospital almost unbearable!

We had some down time, a fun family adventure day, Wesley got quality time with friends and joined his classmates for recess. Our school did a yellow day in his honor on Friday- we were speechless over the turnout and visual representation of the prayer and support backing us.

We are back in the hospital and three days into this round. He had his lumbar puncture and started a 5-day continous drip yesterday. He cannot leave the room when he is receiving chemo so he will be room bound, that is going to be a huge challenge for us this week. We are working on a special exception to get him to the school room daily. He is struggling with anxiety and we fear isolation will make it worse. We've been told that the side effects of this round shouldn't be as harsh as the last few and they tend see less admissions between rounds. Wesley's birthday is March 14th, which would be the cycle day he tends to have to be re-admitted. Please pray with us that we don't spend his birthday in the ED.

How you can help~
•Prayers for positive morale, endurance, wisdom, comfort and quality sleep for Wesley, our family and core help. Our morale has slipped tremendously over the last few weeks and we desperately need it back.
•Visit us in the hospital!! The best time for visitors is from noon-5ish.
•Wesley's birthday is March 14th- please send birthday cards! If you'd like to send a gift, please send an experience/giftcards for things for him to look forward to after treatment. We are out of room for gifts at home - his room is a lego, squishmellow, pokemon mountain. We will have a *HUGE* belated birthday celebration after he rings the bell!
•The state randomly selected our (foster) home for an audit, so we will also be dealing with that over the next couple of weeks. Please pray that goes smoothly and is less of a headache than expected.
