Hey friends-

We are trucking along with the his first phase of chemo. So far he hasn't had any symptoms and if he wasn't dragging an IV pole around, you wouldn't know he was sick. His coping mechanism is 100% humor- he has been pranking and mooning the nurses every chance he gets. His fart tally is almost in the the 100s. Yesterday he tried to resist the anesthesia for his spinal chemo in the most hilarious way possible and had to be caught on the way down.

He is really enjoying all the activities and  therapies the hospital has to offer. He really struggles when he is room bound.

As far as needs go-

-Cards, pictures, police patches, care packages, etc. MAKE HIS DAY! Keep them coming!

-Visitors! Come hang out with us. We really enjoy having people come by, the walls are definitely closing in. Text me 678-973-7674 to schedule a time and for the immunocompromised visitor protocol. 

-We specifically need late afternoon-evening visitors willing to take on the "caretaker" roll so Michael and I can both be home for dinner with the other kiddos and then switch for the night. The family cancer therapist highly recommended this and we agree that it's what the entire family needs. We have sign ups available under "needs" and will add new sign up windows each week.

-UPDATE: NEED IS COVERED! Michael's truck had to go into the shop for the rest of the week and he needs a ride to the hospital Thursday evening (7ish) if anyone is available to give him a ride!

Thank you for praying along side us and being part of our village. We couldn't do this without you. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to thank you and respond to all of you... just know we are reading an absorbing everything and soon I'll have the capacity to start responding.
