150 days ago Oakley was listed for a heart transplant.

Even after 150 days it’s still hard for me to say the words because I wish more than anything that this was just a nightmare I could wake up from.

We’ve been in the hospital just shy of four months now. I was so hopeful the wait wouldn’t be this long yet it continues.

Each day I’m full of hope again that maybe it will be the day we get the phone call…. The unknowns can be mentally exhausting but one more day here is one day closer to her miracle ❤️

Oakley is just amazing through it all. I’m convinced she has to be one of the happiest patients in this hospital 😅 She is full of love. It is so evident to see that God is working so boldly in her.

She is poked and prodded everyday and remains so kind to everyone. It breaks my heart to say it but this is just all so normal to her. I could not be more proud of her.

We would not be where we are today with the constant love and support from y’all ❤️ our family is so incredibly grateful. This is a journey you truly cannot walk alone 🙏🏽
