Hope everyone is safe from the storms! 

Ethan had a pretty good night of sleep and it was much quieter in the step down unit than the ICU. Mommy slept pretty good too! 

Today was a long day for Bubba, but in true Ethan fashion, he handled it like a champ. He had to take a lot of medicines orally as they try to reduce the meds via IVs which meant lots of negotiating. He got another IV and more wires out, an echo and chest X-rays, and walked a lap around the floor. 

The doctor is very happy with the echo results from today and said his recovery is going really well. He is still uncomfortable and in pain from time to time and that’s hard for mommy and daddy to see! 

Today was the Atlanta Congenital Heart Walk and some of our amazing village dressed up as superheroes and walked on behalf of Ethan. We wish we could have been there in person with them, but it meant the world to us having our people walk for the bravest heart warrior.  

Ethan’s Heart Heroes raised over $6k for the Children’s heart foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported a cause near and dear to our HEARTS and to help advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research. We are forever grateful for your continual love and support and couldn’t do this without you. 💪🏻❤️
