So. Medicare wants to discharge Mariana tomorrow. She will need IV antibiotics for 10 more days. They want to send her home and have me (Steve) do the IVs. Obviously that is in no way, shape, or form an ideal scenario. I have requested that she be moved to a skilled nursing facility, but that is dependent on bed availability and the cost. We're waiting to find out what is doable.

She had some elevated liver enzymes in her latest blood work, so they did an ultrasound of her liver. They are running some more tests.

She is in pretty good spirits, but she is still confused about much.
