Mom is currently being treated for a high white blood cell count, which is common post breaking a bone and enduring two surgeries in a 24 hour period. But. She also has a UTI, and despite big gun IV antibiotics, her numbers haven't receded as much as we'd hoped to see by now, so they've called in the Infectious Disease Team, just to be on the safe side. 

Fevers cause a lot of confusion for Mom and she's been quieter over the last two days, except for when she's trying to make sense of what all is going on. Amidst that, she's made sure to ask her medical team who knows Jesus.
