The beginning.
Paisley Teague
About a year ago, Paisley presented signs of early breast development. We were referred to endocrinology where it was essentially monitored until other progression occurred. The endocrinologist advised we start hormone injections twice a year to override her pituitary and stop the progression. She also ordered an MRI to see if there was any obvious reasons involving her pituitary. What was found brings us to where we are now.
On March 13, 2024 Paisley had her MRI. The following day I received a phone call that told me the pituitary looked fine but there is a mass on her optic nerve and we were being referred to hematology/oncology.
We have since seen that Doctor as well as a neurosurgeon. They all agree that a biopsy is necessary. We don't have many definitive answers but we are hoping and praying that the biopsy will give us just that.
For now, we enjoy Easter with our family and friends and wait for the biopsy. ✝️ Just pray for our family as we try and process this, work through the doctor appointments, figure out childcare, and put our faith in Him.
