I was in a car accident February 27, 2023. Ever since then my life has been turned upside down. I was hit by a car and suffered a massive hematoma on my left hip. So far the insurance company liable is claiming no liability, which is just a nightmare and unethical and inhumane. I have hired a lawyer, but seem to be getting nowhere until after my surgery.  I started drinking to self medicate, which obviously was the wrong decision. Quickly after I entered into an inpatient facility and I’m now in recovery. My sobriety is the one thing going great in my life. When I returned from the outpatient, I came home to my family where my mother is suffering from dementia and my dad has pneumonia and I have to care for them. I have no money I need to pay rent the 1st March but with every attempt to make money, I have failed. I’m supposed to have surgery on my hematoma because it is threatening my life. I have an appointment with the surgeon March 4th.  As soon as I am recovered from the surgery I will be able to go back to work and not need financial assistance, but tell then I don’t know what to do. I’m not sure if there’s anyone out there who can help me, anything would help. I am trying to be the best version of myself and commit to my recovery, but I am under an enormous amount of stress.
