With 4 days post-bilateral mastectomy under Emily's belt, she has a few specific prayer requests that we would love you to join us in praying for when she comes to mind this weekend. 

• Pain + nausea management. This has proven to be quite the feat. But her "get it done" attitude, and around-the-clock loving care from our Mom & Preston, she's conquering it one day at a time. 

• The drains have been the most uncomfortable part, and she is really hoping she can have all 4 drains removed at her first post op appointment this Tuesday, April 30th. That would be such a mental win!

• Healing correctly without setbacks as she prepares her body for the Port Surgery next month (May). 

• A good pathology report from what was taken during surgery. We're praying it confirms NO further spread, besides the one positive lymph node we're aware of. These results, expected next week, will determine her exact chemo cadence/sttength and whether radiation is to be included in her treatment plan.
