On June 2nd, Eduardo experienced a fever and his broviac got infected at the hospital. Due to the overload of fluid he received to help the fever, the fluid leaked out and entered his lungs. Eduardo was then diagnosed with pneumonia. Since liquids were in his lungs, his oxygen levels began to lower which led Eduardo being moved to PICU. In PICU, he experienced abdominal pain which was then stated to be pancreatitis. Due to a lack of red blood cells, it has been difficult to fight off infection and get oxygen around the body while fighting fevers, pain and cough from the neumonia and pancreatitis.
