Grieving is different ways
Carly, Ilan and Evie Reisman
As we continue to grapple with the profound loss of our dear Benji, we are touched by the diverse ways in which each of us experiences grief. From the quiet moments of reflection to the outbursts of raw emotion, our collective journey through mourning is a testament to the impact Benji had on our lives.
In the midst of our grief, we have encountered moments of avoidance, where the pain of facing our reality feels insurmountable. We have also navigated through waves of anger, questioning why such a vibrant soul was taken from us too soon. Overall we have received well-intentioned but often unhelpful advice, reminding us that grief is a deeply personal journey.
As we honor Benji's memory, we are reminded of his love and tenderness, the way he held our fingers so tight and the joy he felt. In his honor, we invite you to join us in continuing his legacy by contributing to the Benji Memorial Garden Fund. With your support, we aim to create a serene and vibrant space that reflects Benji's passion for nature and brings solace to those who visit.
Together, let us transform our grief into something beautiful, knowing that Benji's spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
With heartfelt gratitude,
carly, ilan and Evie
