In Support of Bryanna Vega

I was connected with Bryanna through social media when she received a Spina Bifida diagnosis for her youngest son. We had learned so much as a result of our youngest son’s journey with Spina Bifida and it was incredibly meaningful to encourage Bryanna in her journey. Sweet baby Liam was born in September of 2023 and has already required numerous surgeries. Last week Liam was life-flighted to CHOP in shunt failure. Thankfully the shunt malfunction was caught in time and corrective surgery was successful. During this hospital stay, Bryanna learned her husband lost his job as a result of company wide downsizing. He is their primary financial provider due to Liam’s needs. Bryanna transitioned to the Army Reserves but missed drill this month due to baby Liam’s unexpected emergency. I confidently nominate Bryanna for this unique gift knowing she has done all she can to care for her family in this overwhelming season. I know that an unexpected gift of this nature would be timely encouragement to Bryanna and her family.
