In Support of Braxstons relapse

Hi our names are Amber and Austin. Back in August of 2022 our lives were changed forever when our little 2year old, Braxston was diagnosed with a rare children cancer called neuroblastoma stage 4 high risk. Braxston started out with a tumor in his neck and one that went from his stomach all the way up to his chest and wrapped around his aorta. Our boy received 5 rounds of chemo, surgery(which removed more than 90% of the tumor in his stomach), two stem cell transplants, radiation, and immunotherapy with a medication called acutane. Back in August he had scans and we found out he was in remission. He finished his last treatment January 25th of 2024 and we were planning on removing his port February 16th. But we got some bad news on February 2nd after his scans came back that the tumor in his chest(3.5cm by 2.6cm) came back and his fight wasn’t over. We are starting immunotherapy and chemotherapy Monday February 12th and will be in the hospital till Friday. He’s gonna do this for 4cycles and have scans every 2cycles. This tumor is tough and it may never go away. Braxston will more than likely be on a meds for the rest of his life, unless a miracle happens and his tumor disappears and doesn’t come back.
We canceled this 6 months ago due to Braxston doing so well and Austin hours picked back up but due to his dad being the only one working(due to me not being able to work) and will end up having to miss work and get less hours to make sure our daughter get back and forth to school and to help me at appointments.

if you can’t donate, please share and keep him your prayers. Just a little goes a long way. Thank you in advance!
