I’m Betty Smith, and I am in urgent need of your support. I am elderly and disabled, which prevents me from working. My monthly Social Security Income (SSI) check is very small and is spent entirely on bills, leaving me with nothing for other necessities. I live in a house that is infested with rats, and my landlord refuses to make repairs while still pressuring me for rent every month. With no savings, I'm unable to afford moving expenses. Additionally, I need help with food, clothing, household and personal items, medications, and flea and tick spray for my two dogs, who are my only companions.
